Employment Type Full-time Requirements Licensed dental hygienist Associate’s degree or certification in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Current and valid state license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist Familiarity with dental clinic procedures and medical terminology Ability to accurately take vital signs and document patient histories Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment Willingness to work Tuesday through Saturday Job Description Perform professional dental cleanings and scaling to prevent and treat oral disease Conduct oral cancer screenings and assess patients for signs of gingivitis and other dental conditions Take and develop dental x-rays, including bitewing x-rays, ensuring patient comfort and safety Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dental care, and preventive treatments Administer fluoride treatments and other preventive dental procedures as needed Accurately record patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to clinic protocols Collaborate closely with dentists and the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care and positive outcomes Utilize dental software (Open Dental) to manage patient records and scheduling (training provided if needed) Benefits Health insurance coverage Dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching Paid time off Employee discounts on dental services Jobley Bonus: $180 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley) Shift & Schedule Full-time position, approximately 34 – 40 hours per week Typical daily hours: 8-hour shifts, Tuesday through Saturday Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM About the Practice Name: Brar Dentistry - Sleepy Hollow Location: 1053 W Main St,, Dundee, IL 60118 Brar Dentistry - Sleepy Hollow
