This environment is well-suited for clinicians who value time with patients and individualized care. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physician Assistant role based in Melbourne, FL. The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive primary care, including conducting patient histories and physical exams, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications within scope of practice, and providing patient education on preventive care, lifestyle modification, and disease management. The role involves coordinating care with supervising physicians and other health professionals, documenting encounters accurately in the medical record, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The Physician Assistant will also support the direct primary care model by maintaining strong relationships with patients and ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care. Qualifications Current Physician Assistant licensure in the state of Florida and graduation from an accredited PA program; NCCPA certification strongly preferred. Clinical skills in primary care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of common acute and chronic conditions across adult populations. Ability to order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics, with sound clinical judgment and evidence-based decision-making. Strong patient communication skills, including explaining diagnoses and treatment plans clearly, delivering preventive care counseling, and providing culturally responsive care. Experience or strong interest in personalized, precision, or integrative medicine approaches and individualized care planning. Comfort working in a direct primary care or similar patient-centered model, with emphasis on continuity, accessibility, and longer patient visits. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and accurate, timely clinical documentation. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with physicians and other team members, manage time effectively, and adapt to evolving practice needs. CPR/BLS certification; ACLS certification is a plus. Prior outpatient primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine experience preferred but not required for highly motivated new graduates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
