Position: Support Lead Under the leadership of the Store Manager/Leader and Customer Service Manager, the Support Lead assists with direction of the Front End Lead(s) (if applicable) and sales associates of the store while serving as the Manager on Duty. The role is responsible for all key functions of the store as directed, focusing on customer experience, front‑end operations, cash management, cleanliness, safety, and sales growth. Achieve CSAT score goals set by the District Manager. Lead front‑end operations and train staff on the High Fives of Customer Service. Ensure each guest has a fast, friendly checkout. Maintain store cleanliness, recovery, and readiness at all times. Open and close store procedures. Assist with front‑end operations and perform SM duties in the Manager’s absence. Supervise, train, coach, and develop all associates. Review corporate communications and react accordingly. Partner with supervisors or corporate office regarding store issues. Drive store sales and control expenses. Assist in payroll processing and ensure pay within budget. Support merchandising procedures. Adhere to and hold associates accountable to Five Below’s SOPs. Handle cash procedures, including deposits and register authorizations. Apply Human Resources policies and procedures. Assist with receiving, stocking, unloading, staging, packing, and merchandising. Perform key metrics: sales, ADS, CSAT scores, and expense control. Perform store maintenance: garbage removal, sweeping, bathroom cleaning, stockroom upkeep. Work frequently with a cash register, move merchandise up to 25 lbs, and navigate ladders and aisles. Communicate with customers and coworkers via phone and face‑to‑face. Maintain a stationary, upright position 80% of the time. Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred. Minimum 1 year of management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task. Creative thinking. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Compensation Hourly position starting at $16.42.
