Shipping/Receiving SpecialistLocation: Charlotte, NC 28216Job Type: Full-TimePay: $19.00–$21.00/hour, depending on experienceAbout the Company: Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of convertible tops, vinyl tops, and accessories serving specialty trim shops and distributors around the globe.Position SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Specialist to support daily warehouse operations. This position will be responsible for shipping and receiving products, materials, and supplies; maintaining accurate records; assisting with inventory; and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, package, label, and ship outgoing customer orders and materialsReceive incoming packages, supplies, freight, and materialsVerify incoming and outgoing shipments against orders, packing slips, invoices, and other documentationInspect shipments for accuracy, damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues as neededEnter shipping, receiving, and inventory information accurately into the computer systemPrepare and maintain shipping records, labels, bills of lading, and other required paperworkCoordinate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and internal departments to support timely deliveries and shipmentsMove, organize, stock, and stage materials throughout the warehouseAssist with inventory counts and cycle countsMaintain accurate inventory levelsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping, receiving, and warehouse areaFollow all company safety procedures and policiesQualificationsGood work history with a demonstrated record of dependabilityBasic to intermediate computer skillsAbility to accurately enter information and maintain recordsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProfessional communication skills when interacting with carriers, vendors, drivers, and coworkersDependable and punctualSelf-motivated with a positive, can-do attitudeAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environmentMust follow company safety proceduresForklift certifiedAbility to lift up to 50 poundsBenefitsGenerous benefits packageCompetitive payPaid vacationPaid holidaysFree private parkingWork Location: In personInterested?
