Job Summary:
Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position available in York, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill stroke patients, post-neurosurgery, and neuro-endovascular surgery patients, with responsibilities including ICP monitoring, ventilator management, and neuro-specific procedures. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: York, Pennsylvania
• Schedule: Nights - 3 x 12-hour shifts, from 18:45 to 07:15, with minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a Neuro ICU setting, experience with Epic electronic medical record system, Certifications in ACLS and BLS, NIHSS certification preferred, recent experience managing arterial lines, external ventricular drains (EVD), ICP monitoring, and post-neurosurgery patient care, Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine and Flu vaccine required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior charge nurse experience, trauma level I certification, community hospital experience, LTAC experience.
• Additional Information: Candidate may be required to care for COVID patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance freenotify prior to submission if applicable.
