AlphaBEST Education - Portland, OR (David Douglas school district)Looking for a part-time role that fits around the school day?AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day.For those who have experience working with students, the Group Leader role offers the opportunity to shape meaningful after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.We're looking for an early learning professional who:Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environmentTakes child safety seriously and follows procedures closelyIs flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever neededIn this role, you will:Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)Make child safety the top priority at all timesKeep the space clean and organizedHelp create an environment where kids feel supported and includedBuild strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staffThis role is ideal for educators with experience in:Teaching or classroom leadershipYouth programsStaff supervision or team leadershipElementary Education college studentsHere's what you'll need:Must have a high school diploma or GED18+ years old240+ documented hours of experience working with children is preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needsMust be able to successfully complete a background check as required by OR childcare licensing regulationsProof of experience as required by OR childcare licensing regulationsWhy Join Us?At AlphaBEST, we believe in boosting your potential.
