This entry-level opportunity centers on structured training designed to prepare you for delivering direct, person-centered care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will learn to assist with daily living needs, maintain a secure environment, and support overall resident quality of life. As an Aide Trainee, you will perform the following duties: Training Participation: Attend classroom and on-the-job instruction to learn techniques for non-professional nursing care Resident Support: Assist residents with basic needs, safe mobility, and daily room organization Meal Assistance: Distribute meal trays, promote intake through regular nourishment activities, and document information as required Safety Practices: Follow infection control procedures and maintain clean, hazard-free resident areas Activity Assistance: Help residents during programs, appointments, and recreational outings Equipment Care: Clean and maintain items such as wheelchairs, pumps, and other medical equipment Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work Hours: Prior to attending school, you will work 1st shift (6:45 AM to 3:15 PM). After attending school, you will work 1st shift (6:45 AM to 3:15 PM) if available, 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM), or 3rd shift (11:15 PM to 7:45 AM). Working every other weekend is required. QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): Willingness to work in Spring City, Chester County, Pennsylvania Willingness to work full-time 1st shift (6:45 AM to 3:15 PM) if available, 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM), or 3rd shift (11:15 PM to 7:45 AM), including rotating days and weekends. This schedule will be implemented after certification is obtained. Willingness to complete training and provide a certification of successfully passing the exam. The position requires 120 hours of training with 42 hours of classroom instruction and 24 hours of lab practice held at our partner location; the remaining 54 hours will take place at a clinical site near the school you attend. Work experience caring for geriatric or physically ill individuals Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
