Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)

Duration: 2 month contract

Experience: 1 4 Years (Open to Recent Graduates)

Ideal Candidate

A Junior API Developer with 1 4 years of experience (or a strong recent graduate) who has hands-on experience with REST APIs, OAuth, Azure, and Databricks , along with a strong interest in AI integrations and modern enterprise application development.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Junior API Developer to support a newly established AI organization (ITSAI) within a major banking environment. The team focuses on building secure API integrations, modern authentication solutions, and connecting enterprise systems with AI-enabled services and legacy platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for junior developers with strong REST API fundamentals, Azure exposure, and an interest in AI integrations.

Required Skills

1 4 years of API Development experience (Recent graduates with relevant skills are encouraged to apply)
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and API integration
Knowledge of OAuth , authentication, and authorization concepts
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services
Exposure to Databricks
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Nice-to-Have Skills

Exposure to AI integrations and MCP Servers
Experience integrating enterprise applications with legacy systems
Understanding of secure API management and modern integration patterns
