Psychotherapist

Behavioral Health Clinician

Provides clinical services and psychotherapy for clients impacted by behavioral health and substance use disorders. Primary position responsibilities include providing psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, and therapeutic programming (including individual, group, and family therapy). Maintains compliance with all standards of JCAHO, Department of Health, regulatory agencies, and specialty recommendations. Maintains patient safety. Completes documentation of care. Maintains professional development.

Qualifications: Minimum education required: Masters degree in social work, counseling, or psychology. Minimum years of experience required: Two years clinical experience. License, registry, or certification required: NJ license LCSW or LPC. Knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required: Clinical training in psychotherapy and substance use. Must have the ability to facilitate groups. Skilled in crisis intervention. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to organize and prioritize, works effectively in stressful situations. Clinician demonstrates knowledge of evidenced based practices in the provision of care included but not limited to: Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Universal Screening for SUD.
