Schedule: Monday 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM; Tuesday-Friday 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Training Requirement: Must be available to train during Week 1 on 1st Shift (Monday-Friday)

As a 2nd Shift Warehouse Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring product is received, documented, and processed accurately while supporting the overall flow of freight throughout the facility. The ideal 2nd Shift Warehouse Clerk thrives in a team-oriented environment, has strong administrative and organizational skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities.

What You'll Do

As a 2nd Shift Warehouse Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating daily inbound warehouse operations by assigning unloads and putaway work based on shipment priorities and operational workload.
• Processing receiving and inventory transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accurate shipment, quantity, and location data.
• Verifying inbound documentation, auditing paperwork, trailer information, and inventory counts prior to receiving and putaway activities.
• Monitoring dock activity through the Tower system, tracking unloads, operator assignments, putaway progress, and trailer status.
• Managing inbound trailer movements by updating statuses, tracking live loads, and coordinating dock door assignments.
• Communicating effectively with warehouse operators, yard jockeys, and leadership to maintain efficient freight flow.
• Maintaining accurate yard and trailer inventories while prioritizing trailer movements based on business needs.
• Coordinating door swaps and trailer placements as inbound work is completed.
• Ensuring compliance with company SOPs and maintaining a high level of accuracy in all receiving, unloading, and inventory-related processes.

Qualifications

To be successful as a 2nd Shift Warehouse Clerk, candidates should possess:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, logistics, or related experience preferred.
• Experience using WMS, SAP, or similar inventory management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and manage changing priorities.
