Mechanical Designer

Job Full Description As a Mechanical Designer you will play a critical role in developing working drawings, manufacturing instructions, and innovative product designs. Collaborating with a diverse client base and internal teams, you'll help refine existing designs and create new solutions using industry-leading software tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Adobe Illustrator. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed working drawings, including dimensions, materials, and manufacturing instructions. Collaborate with clients to design custom products and improve existing designs. Support quoting processes by creating accurate production drawings and estimates. Utilize software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Excel to create high-quality designs and documentation. Ensure designs align with fabrication processes and production capabilities. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure project success. Prioritize tasks to meet multiple or fluctuating deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications and Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software; SolidWorks experience preferred. General knowledge of fabrication processes and tools. Ability to read and accurately interpret measuring instruments. Strong time management skills to balance competing priorities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration. A self-starter attitude with a dependable, flexible, and results-driven work ethic.
