Summary

Join a 32-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) providing specialized care for critically ill patients. This role offers the opportunity to care for patients with respiratory failure, cardiac and pulmonary conditions, sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and other complex diagnoses while working alongside a highly collaborative critical care team with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients.
• Administer advanced medications and specialized treatments.
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based critical care.

Minimum Requirements

• Active New Mexico RN License
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS Certification (required upon hire)
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
• 3 years of RN experience in any nursing specialty
