This individual will collaborate with our staff to lead business development strategies and support successful delivery of multidisciplinary engineering teams across our existing Washington State offices.
Our Apex offices have a significant historical presence within the communities we serve, averaging more than 20 years of local relationships with our agency and private development clients. - Lead business development efforts for infrastructure projects with Eastern Washington, southwest Washington, and with other agencies throughout northwest for which you have relationships.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying new project opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- Serve as Project Manager and/or Principal-in-Charge for complex infrastructure engineering projects from planning through construction.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction to ensure successful project execution within approved scopes and budgets.
- Provide technical leadership for roadway, highway, intersection, bridge, multimodal, and corridor improvement projects.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including roadway, drainage, utilities, structures, traffic, and environmental disciplines.
- Effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities while collaborating with the Principal-in-Charge and other senior leadership.
- Prepare and review technical reports, engineering studies, design documents, and project deliverables.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior engineers and project managers, fostering technical growth and leadership within the team.
- Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations to strengthen market presence and support continued growth.
- Promote a collaborative, client-focused culture while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Required Qualifications:
