SAP S/4 Architect

SAP and MS Data Architect Introduction: TriCom is seeking an SAP & Microsoft Data Architect to help advance an AI-enabled Invoice-to-Pay application for a Finance organization. This role will define and guide a secure, scalable hybrid architecture spanning SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Microsoft Fabric. The architect will collaborate with Finance, Platform, Engineering, and Service Operations teams to translate business needs into practical solution designs, integration patterns, governance standards, and operational processes.

Responsibilities:

• Proven success architecting enterprise solutions across SAP BTP and Microsoft data platforms including Microsoft Fabric.
• Ability to define and document current-state, transition-state, and target-state architectures including platform responsibilities, application components, data flows, dependencies, and technical decisions.
• In-depth knowledge of secure, scalable data and integration patterns for SAP and non-SAP environments including APIs, replication, federation, batch processing, and event-driven integration.
• Experience translating business and technical requirements into solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation guidance for developers, data engineers, platform teams, and service operations.
• Ability to provide cross-functional technical leadership and partner effectively with Finance, business analysts, systems analysts, application teams, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Experience reviewing application configurations, code, integrations, and technical designs for alignment with architecture, security, governance, naming, and change-control standards.
• Experience defining and supporting testing for application components, data flows, integrations, security, performance, monitoring, failure recovery, and operational readiness.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hybrid, cross-platform data and application environments.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, integration designs, architecture decisions, operational procedures, and system documentation.
• Strong communication and knowledge-transfer skills, with the ability to establish reusable architecture practices for internal teams.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting finance technology initiatives, particularly Invoice-to-Pay or Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Hands-on exposure to SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with AI-enabled enterprise applications or intelligent automation solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft full-stack application and data services beyond Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience establishing operational support models in partnership with service operations teams.
