- Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using standardized methods and observational assessments.
- Craft individualized treatment strategies encompassing both immediate goals and prolonged communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy targeting communication, linguistics, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
- Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members to formulate integrated care plans.
- Provide education and resources to patients and families for ongoing progress outside the clinical environment.
- Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care for all patients.
- Keep comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with local, federal, and institutional guidelines.
- Stay abreast of innovations in the speech pathology field through ongoing education and peer interactions.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Expertise in evidence-informed treatment modalities spanning all age groups, with in-depth knowledge of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing challenges.
- Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Capacity to tailor therapy techniques to cater to a diverse array of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
