Assistant Baseball Coach

Position: 10‑month, 75% annual renewable position. Assistant Baseball Coach The assistant coach position requires the successful candidate to work in‑person on the Crookston Campus location. The assistant coach (AC) is expected to work closely with the head coach, other assistant coaches, and all stakeholders within our program and department. The AC promotes and upholds the behaviors and values that drive our culture, demonstrates a significant capacity for work, and is committed to student‑athlete development on the court, in the classroom, and in life. General duties and responsibilities: Coaching and teaching (40%) Participate in practice planning and technical instruction during practice Track student‑athlete and team progress and performance Provide in‑match coaching and tactical adjustments Assist with preparation of scouting reports and video analysis of opponents Assist with recruiting planning, logistics, and evaluations Organize official and unofficial campus visits Create recruiting content and materials and coordinate their distribution Help incoming student‑athletes with the admissions process and the transition to campus Know and adhere to all rules and regulations of the NSIC & NCAA II Administration (20%) Work with the business office and compliance to complete necessary documentation and paperwork Participate in departmental activities as required Other duties as assigned by the head coach (10%) Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Minimum of two (2) years of coaching experience Strong quantitative and computing skills Ability to communicate and connect with people Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Experience mentoring young women Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA and NSIC recruiting rules Significant travel required for this position Valid Driver’s License Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree Pay and Benefits Pay Range : $50,000 per year – $55,000 per year; depending on education, qualifications, and experience.
