This long-term opportunity involves providing emergency care at a Level One trauma center within a comprehensive stroke and airway management environment, with consistent shifts and robust clinical support. Opportunity Details Location: Toledo, Ohio Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Level One Trauma Center Emergency Department Coverage: ASAP Schedule Details Shifts: 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 10a-6p, 3p-11p, 4p-12a, 6p-2a, 11p-7a Shifts per month: Approximately 12 shifts, with day, night, and swing options available Clinical Scope Management of acute medical and traumatic presentations in a Level 1 trauma environment Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of diverse emergency cases, including stroke and airway emergencies Supervision of residents, with direct oversight at all times Documentation within Epic EMR Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including trauma and stroke teams Requirements MD degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM or AOBEM Active Ohio medical license ACLS and ATLS certifications 1-3 years of emergency medicine experience preferred Ability to provide direct resident supervision at all times Preferred Qualifications Experience in Level 1 trauma centers Familiarity with Epic EMR and comprehensive stroke protocols Why Physicians Move on This This Toledo emergency department offers a Level One trauma designation, a comprehensive stroke center, and a collaborative clinical environment with resident supervision.
