Emergency Medicine Physician

Seeking BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to join fantastic team near Myrtle Beach, SC. W2 role with full benefits! Highly competitive pay as well.

SCHEDULE & COVERAGE:

• Minimum of 120 hours per month, with the opportunity to work additional shifts if desired no cap on monthly shifts, and all are paid at the same rate
• 12-hour and 10-hour shifts available
• Rotations between the main ED and FSEDs are expected, though exclusive FSED coverage may be considered
• Main ED staffed daily with 5 physicians and 2 4+ APPs
• APPs with PIT (Provider in Triage) coverage
• Nursing coverage 1:3 (1:4 max)
• 1.5 1.7 PPH in the main ED
• LWBS under 1%
• No call responsibilities are required for this position

FACILITIES & TECHNOLOGY:

• Main ED: 42 beds with dedicated high-, moderate-, and low-acuity zones no hallway beds or patients boarding in corridors
• FSED : 8 beds 3T MRI, CT, ultrasound, full lab
• FSED : 12 beds CT, X-ray, ultrasound, full lab
• Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivist coverage and in-house surgical support
• Chest Pain Center & STEMI program with 24/7 interventional cardiology
• Level III Trauma Center with low transfer rate ( 2%) and high continuity of care
• 50k annual ER visits
• ACGME teaching hospital opportunities to teach without the burden of required lectures

COMING IN 2027 - TWO NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART FSEDs

• Socastee (opening spring 2027): 8 beds
• Hwy 22 & 90 (opening late summer 2027): 12 beds
• 2-1.4 PPH
• Full imaging capabilities including MRI, CT, X-Ray, and Ultrasound
• Full lab capabilities
• Dedicated critical care transport units at both sites (ACLS & BLS)
• The FSEDs will be staffed with 2 physicians (12-hour shifts, 8a-8p/8p-8a)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• $50K+ signing bonus
• Competitive shift-based pay structure (W2) Not 1099
  • Main ED: $278 days, $300 nights
  • FSEDs: $250 for days, $260 for nights
