ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing payroll processes Supporting labor and staffing activities Coordinating employee leaves and Worker’s Compensation cases The Specialist serves as a point of contact for employees and applicants, providing high-quality customer service and timely, accurate information regarding employment, certification, compensation, benefits, and other personnel-related inquiries. This role also assists with assessing FNS staffing needs, supporting recruitment and hiring processes, and coordinating applicant screening to ensure hiring managers are connected with qualified candidates. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Associate degree from an accredited institution in the field of Food and Nutrition, or related field. Three years’ experience in school food service management, finance, professional development, food service operations, or related experience. OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
