Warehouse Associate – Fontana, CA What You’ll Do: You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly — from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time. In This Role You’ll: All Associates: Safely operate material handling equipment: electric pallet jacks and Reach forklifts (certification required, QCD can certify you) Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards Use warehouse technology (RF Scanners, Vo Collect Headset, and Warehouse Management System) to track orders and inventory Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols Loader Specific: Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely Secure pallets for shipment and verify shipping documentation Assist dock operations including staging and organizing shipments Selector (Picker) Specific: Use (Vo Collect) headset to pick and pack customer orders accurately Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products What You’ll Bring: All Associates: Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Experience with warehouse management systems, electric pallet jack and (Vo Collect headset) preferred Union Experience –Experience working in unionized environments strongly preferred Loader: Electric pallet jack certification and at least 6 months of safe operation experience preferred Selector (Picker) Specific: Valid electric pallet jack certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation Use a voice-directed picking system (Vo Collect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders Schedule & Setting: Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer: -5°F to 38°F) Primarily a 4-day work week, with shifts typically starting between 4 AM and 5PM; you would have to be open to any shift, any schedule.
