Senior Application Developer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support complex enterprise integrations, the contract-to-hire Senior Application Developer will work remotely, focusing on backend development using Go and Java/Spring Boot, while managing Kafka-based event integrations and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders. Key responsibilities: Support backend integrations with enterprise contract management platforms and design Kafka-based event integrations Coordinate with Kafka and platform teams on topic configuration, promotion, and cloud migration Assist with production support, release validation, and incident troubleshooting while ensuring reliable communication between systems Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field 4-6 years of experience in senior-level application development, particularly with enterprise integrations Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) Proficiency in backend development using Go and Java/Spring Boot Experience with REST APIs and data integration across multiple storage platforms
