- Coordinate and manage the care, custody, and control of the project site, ensuring it remains safe, secure, and well organized.
- Lead daily standup meetings and weekly trade coordination meetings to align teams on priorities, constraints, and safety topics.
- Attend, manage, and actively participate in progress and project OAC (Owner–Architect–Contractor) meetings to represent field operations and provide updates.
- Create, manage, modify, and implement the project schedule in conjunction with the Project Manager, adjusting activities as needed to maintain or recover timelines.
- Track and monitor project budgets and costs using the project management system’s cost reports and data provided by the Project Manager, as assigned.
- Communicate key project information to owners, design teams, governing authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow the established project filing and documentation system, ensuring drawings, logs, diaries, and inspection notebooks are current and accurate.
- Approve and/or record unit cost information for weekly reports and complete daily reports, logs, and tracking reports to document progress and issues.
- Evaluate progress on self-perform work regularly and make adjustments to manpower, sequencing, or methods as needed to maintain productivity and quality.
- Manage material and equipment needs for the project, including planning deliveries and coordinating storage and handling on site.
- Assist in selecting formwork, tools, and equipment necessary to complete self-perform operations efficiently and safely.
- Manage the timecard approval process to ensure accurate reporting of hours and proper use of cost codes for labor tracking and cost control.
- Ensure quality compliance by using project specifications, setting clear quality standards, implementing in-house QA/QC processes, and coordinating with external resources as needed.
- Support project closeout by supervising pre-punch activities and coordinating punch list and final inspection activities with the owner, architect, and governing authorities.
- Gain and apply understanding of the project pursuit process and methodology to support future work opportunities and proposals.
- Collaborate with field operations leadership and the project team to develop a comprehensive project pre-plan, and implement, monitor, and adjust it throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with field leadership to establish appropriate field staffing levels and assignments for the project.
- Partner with project management to identify schedule and cost impacts associated with project changes and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Participate in negotiations with the owner and architect to gain agreement on project changes, including scope, schedule, and cost impacts.
- Participate in preparation and presentation for all project review meetings, including monthly project reviews and other key internal and external meetings.
- Participate in project buyout meetings with subcontractors and vendors to clarify scope, schedule, coordination, and expectations.
- Understand and apply the terms and conditions of owner and subcontractor contracts to day-to-day field operations and decision-making.
- Identify and assist in recruiting top talent to support field operations and strengthen the project team.
- Leverage advanced technology and semiconductor project experience to ensure compliance with cleanroom and specialized process requirements.
