Material Handler - Food & Beverage

Overview: $19.50 / hour The Material Handler - Food & Beverage is responsible for safely moving material from the receiving area to storage area or other assigned locations as well as assembling guests' orders for stock, shipping or palletizing and reviewing inventory for processing. Safely transports items through the warehouse to and from off‑site locations. Responsibilities: Ships and receives all warehouse goods and services, can operate heavy machinery and deliver products to the park. Ensures all food and beverage offerings meet company standards for presentation, temperature, and quality. Helps monitor inventory levels and controls waste to meet food cost goals. Maintains compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including internal audits and health department standards. Provides hands‑on support during peak service times, ensuring smooth operations and timely service. Conducts regular walkthroughs and inspections to uphold cleanliness, safety, and guest‑ready standards. Addresses guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring positive experiences and resolution of issues. Works closely with other departments (e.g., culinary, events, facilities, HR) to coordinate logistics and support overall business success. Champions company culture, values, and service standards throughout all catering operations. Qualifications: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Food and Beverage or Warehouse receiving and shipping. Proven track record of working on heavy machinery such as forklifts and Raymond lifts. Self‑starter who shows initiative. Exceptional guest service skills and adherence to safety and quality standards. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage scheduling, inventory, and event logistics efficiently. Strong understanding of cost controls, labor management, and health department regulations. Experience in large‑scale event execution and a hands‑on, proactive management style.
