Network Administrator

Merit Medical seeks a Network Administrator to manage network infrastructure, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and support the design and implementation of network solutions. The role involves maintaining hardware systems, responding to employee support tickets, and collaborating across teams in a day-shift position based in South Jordan, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Process and resolve employee tickets for network troubleshooting and configuration updates
• Maintain network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points
• Design and implement local and wide-area network solutions across multiple platforms and protocols
• Support network infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
• Participate in on-call rotation for network support needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Three years of related network administration experience
• Strong knowledge of computer software, hardware, and network applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Cisco networking certifications or other IT certifications preferred
• Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities
