Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Arizona

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating holidays and weekends. May require floating to a sister site depending on census and staffing needs.

Job Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of nursing care are delivered. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 24 months of recent Emergency Room experience.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC).
• Active Arizona nursing license with no hits on the state license.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
