This integrated strategy has solidified our position as an industry trailblazer.Position OverviewSchedule: Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm - Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.On-Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at our corporate office during office hours.Compensation Package– $85,000 to $105,000 / YearThe above compensation is a range. Employer pays 85% of employee's premium.401k contribution opportunity with an annual company match.Paid sick leave accrual equivalent to 1.33 hours for every 30 hours worked (~11 days per year).Paid vacation starting at three weeks and increasing with tenure.14 paid holidays, including 2 personal holidays of your choice.Comprehensive training programs and development opportunities.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3-5 years of fund accounting experience, preferably in private equity or hedge fundsProficiency in partnership accounting and allocation methodologiesExperience with oversight of third-party fund administratorsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with accounting softwareCPA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation is preferredExperience with alternative investments (private equity, real estate, venture capital)Knowledge of fund structures, including master-feeder and parallel fundsFamiliarity with tax considerations for investment partnershipsExperience with investor reporting and communicationsYour RoleAct as the primary liaison with third-party fund administrators.Review and approve NAVs, financial statements, and investor reports.Validate fund expenses, fees, and performance allocations for accuracy.Manage partner capital activity, allocations, and maintain ownership records.Review and authorize capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.Supervise outsourced accounting teams and enforce quality control standards.Provide training, guidance, and technical support to junior team members.Lead fund audits, prepare documentation, and coordinate with external auditors.Prepare financial reports, ensure GAAP compliance, and support regulatory and investor requests.Our Mission & CultureAt American Capital Group, "Our mission is to be an innovator and leader in multifamily housing solutions."
