Store Management Overview Store Management Our Domino’s Pizza General Managers are the backbone of our business. General Managers handle all aspects of running a Domino’s Pizza store, including leading their team, setting high standards for customer service, and maintaining exceptional product quality. Opportunities Opportunities! The Management Development Program allows only our own store managers to apply for franchising opportunities. For many of our General Managers, the ultimate goal is to own their own business. Individuals who have successfully managed a Domino’s Pizza store for at least a year are eligible to apply for a franchise. If you are looking for a career path within our corporation, you could become a Trainer or a Regional Manager in our field marketplace. Compensation Great Pay! General Managers are paid a salary of $1275.00, plus bonuses and incentives based on store profitability and performance. Job Description Lead the daily operations of a Domino’s Pizza store. Train, motivate, and manage staff, setting and enforcing customer service standards. Maintain product quality and ensure all products meet company standards. Control inventory, place orders, and manage supply chain. Handle store financial performance, including profit and loss responsibilities. Ensure compliance with safety and food‑handling regulations. Manage employee scheduling, discipline, and appearance. Foster a positive work environment and continuous improvement. Physical Requirements Stand for most tasks, walking on ceramic tile or linoleum. Work surfaces range from 36" to 48" in height. Walk short distances as required for delivery and store operations. Sit for paperwork in an office setting. Lifting: bulk deliveries up to 50 lbs, stacking up to 72" high. Carrying: large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), trays of dough (12 lbs each). Pushing: move trays on dollies (24"–30" stack, up to 7.5 lb force). Climb stairs or ladders occasionally for maintenance and price changes. Stooping/bending at the waist for assembly stations (30–45 sec periods repeatedly). Crouch or squat to stock shelves and clean low areas. Reach continuously in all directions, up to 72" for oven controls or shelf access. Use hand tools such as pencils, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pancake. Qualifications Age 21 or older. Valid U.S. Social Security Number and employment authorization. No criminal record. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle for transportation. NYC food handler certification required. Friendly, works well with others, and thrives under high‑pace stress. Organized with efficient time‑management skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Flexible to work a minimum of five closing nights a week, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Motivational and able to train and develop a team. Capable of creating employee schedules and maintaining inventory. Ensures employees present a proper image and respond to customer concerns. Adheres to Domino’s policies and answers all calls after the first ring. Understands that failing a cut test results in losing position. Committed to exceptional product quality.
