This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating nights and days: 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric RN with NICU experience to join our team. This position entails working in a Pediatric/Pediatric Surgical unit with a focus on neonates and pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in managing complex cases and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for pediatric patients, particularly neonates.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise and instruct nursing staff as needed, promoting best practices in patient care.
• Coordinate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active MD RN License.
• BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience in NICU or similar environment.
• Experience with various pediatric conditions including but not limited to prematurity, Cardiac defects, and Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.
