Job Summary:
The organization is seeking Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) professionals to join the surgical team at a facility located in Miami, Florida. This role involves supporting cardiovascular surgeries in a specialized operating room environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Miami, Florida
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH)
• Shift: Day Shift, 12 hours (07:00 AM 07:30 PM, 07:30 PM 07:00 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Surg technician certification; no minimum years of experience specified; location in Miami, FL, required to operate in a fast-paced cardiac surgery environment
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience, ability to adapt easily to a fast-paced unit, capable of functioning independently
• Additional Information:
  • Supporting units include CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) with procedures such as CABGs, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, ECMO, pacemakers, tracheostomy, and maze procedures
  • Staffing involves 3 staff members per shift with patient ratios of 1:1
  • Equipment includes CVOR technology, documentation via Meditech system
  • Call requirements differ between weekends (24-hour call) and weekdays (after 3 PM, Monday through Friday)
  • Dress code: Scrubs (provided in the operating room)
  • Coverage across three hospitals including Mercy, Kendall, and Aventura hospitals
