Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Architect that will designs and delivers data and AI solutions that help clients solve business challenges and gain value from their technology investments. This role works closely with clients to understand requirements, develop solution architectures, and implement technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, Power BI, and Generative AI.

The position leads solution design, prototyping, implementation planning, governance, and client adoption efforts while providing technical guidance across complex, multi-region engagements. The architect ensures solutions are scalable, effective, and aligned with both business goals and technical requirements.

Skills and Requirements

-10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platform consulting, with experience leading large-scale client engagements.

-3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience, including Data Factory, Data Engineering, OneLake, semantic models, pipelines, notebooks, and Power BI.

-Strong background in data warehousing, data modernization, and enterprise data platform architecture.

-Experience architecting and delivering large Microsoft Fabric implementations from discovery and design through deployment, governance, and knowledge transfer.

-Proven expertise with Python development and modern data engineering frameworks.

-Experience with Generative AI and AI-enabled solutions, including Azure OpenAI, Copilot, Claude, Foundry, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and AI integrations.

-Strong understanding of Snowflake and hybrid data platform architectures.

-Ability to lead client-facing discovery sessions, gather requirements, define solution roadmaps, and communicate technical concepts effectively to both business and technical audiences.

-Demonstrated experience acting as a trusted advisor, leading technical discussions, mentoring teams, and driving successful project delivery.

-Well-rounded expertise across architecture, implementation, optimization, governance, support, and knowledge transfer.
