Chop Saw Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Chop Saw Operator:

• Can accurately read and use a tape measure down to the 16th of an inch.
• Can safely operate a nail gun. Understands its safety features and knows how to appropriately use without injuring the associate or anyone else.
• Can safely operate all other hand tools needed for the required job. Etc.., Framing Hammers
• Can safely operate all chop, panel, and hand saws.
• Can identify all lumber products by size, type and species by sight.
• Read, interpret and understand all aspects of build sheets. Can identify the different components, measurements, materials, species and nail patterns.
• Mark and cut wood accurately for RO station
• Label and stack components neatly in rack
• Cleanup as required for area
