A 204-bed community hospital in Loxahatchee, FL (Palm Beach County) — designated as an AHCA Primary Stroke Center with a Level II NICU, a full-service Children's Hospital, and a robust robotics program — is seeking a Director of Surgical Services.

The role. The Director of Surgical Services reports directly to the hospital COO and leads a department of approximately 84 FTEs, including an OR Manager, PACU Lead, Pre-Op Lead, and SPD Supervisor. The surgical program encompasses 9 operating rooms (including one hybrid OR), 5 Xi robotic systems, and performs approximately 5,500 cases per year across service lines that include gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, bariatrics, and neurosurgery. In this role, you will drive clinical quality by identifying and implementing evidence-based practices to advance patient safety outcomes, manage variation in clinical practice to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and develop care coordination policies that foster interdisciplinary collaboration. You will also lead volume forecasting, staffing, and budget management — including labor productivity, supply utilization, and variance analysis — while partnering with the administrative team and physicians to grow existing services and develop new service lines.

• Minimum 3+ years of Director of Surgical Services experience within the acute care setting Required

Schedule. Day shift, full-time.

Compensation. $180 - $162,926 per year plus 17.5% director bonus potential with 150% upside Relo Assistance Available
