Lodge Operations CoordinatorAshland, ME – Direct Hire Opportunity Schedule: Full-Time; flexibility may be required for meetings, events, and occasional weekend coverage. Salary: $45,000–$60,000 annuallyWe are seeking a Lodge Operations Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of an employee lodge in Ashland, Maine. This position will primarily manage food service operations, supervise kitchen staff, and coordinate meetings and events held at the lodge. The role will also provide oversight of employee housing and lodging services, including cleanliness, maintenance needs, and coordination with contractors or internal maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, hospitality, lodging, or a similar setting and be comfortable leading a team and managing multiple operational priorities.Responsibilities:Oversee daily lodge operationsSupervise and schedule cooks and other lodge staffCoordinate meal preparation and food serviceHelp maintain food quality, cleanliness, and safety standardsMonitor food and supply inventory and assist with orderingAccommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies as neededCoordinate setup and support for meetings and special eventsEnsure kitchen, dining, common areas, and employee housing areas are clean and well maintainedAssist with routine housing inspections and identify maintenance or repair needsCoordinate lodging-related services such as laundry, supplies, and general property upkeepWork with contractors and internal maintenance staff when repairs or facility needs ariseTrain and support lodge employeesMonitor operational costs related to food service and lodge operationsComplete basic administrative duties, including logs, reports, payroll information, and employee documentationProvide a welcoming and professional experience for employees and guestsPerform other related duties as neededQualifications:Previous supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, lodging, or a related field preferredA minimum of 3 years of experience as a head cook, kitchen supervisor, or in a similar commercial food service environment preferredFood safety certification preferredExperience overseeing lodging, housing, property operations, or facility-related needs is a plusComfortable coordinating routine maintenance needs and working with contractors or internal tradesExperience with inventory, ordering, and purchasing procedures preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer-based systemsStrong leadership and communication skillsGood organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong customer service skillsDependable and safety-focusedReliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseAbility to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends or events, when neededBenefits:401(k) with 5% company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceDisability insuranceReimbursement accountsAnnual uniform creditPaid vacation, holidays, and sick timeEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramWellness programsEmployee discount programsTuition reimbursementDependent scholarship programsIn-house training and professional development opportunities
