Sales Representative

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision and capabilities to potential customers. Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges and establish DR Horton as the best solution available. Overcome objections and close sales. Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options and construction. Continuously source new sales opportunities. Create and provide management with a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships. Network and perform outreach to realtors. Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals and work effectively with other team members. Maintain and expand database of prospects. Attend sales meetings. Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors and team members. Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit of the company. Qualifications Associate’s Degree or 2 years related experience. Must have a vehicle, a valid driver’s license and be able to drive during day or night. Ability to utilize DRH sales applications on a smartphone, tablet or laptop. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form or via DRH sales applications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email. Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to an 8‑hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on uneven terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision. Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is generally moderate. Preferred Qualifications Licensing requirements vary by state. Prior CRM software experience. Previous sales experience and industry knowledge preferred.
