New Grad RN Resident - Stepdown Unit

About This Role As a New Grad RN Resident in the Stepdown Unit at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, you will provide exceptional patient care while working with a compassionate team. This role is ideal for new graduates or RNs with limited experience looking to enhance their skills in a supportive environment. Highlights Pay: $34.17 - $54.67/hour Location: Dover, OH Facility: Union Hospital Department/Unit: Stepdown Unit Schedule: Full-time, Rotating days/nights What You’ll Do Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs. Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach. Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care. Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions. Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when needed. Document in patients’ medical records. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience: New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience required. RN moving from a non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience. Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required if in a Critical Care area, to be presented upon hire or within the first year of employment.
