Job Summary: The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. This position is responsible for managing guest flow, handling reservations, and supporting front - of - house operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities: Warmly greet guests upon arrival and thank them upon departure. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus. Answer initial questions about the menu, specials, and general restaurant information. Manage seating chart and monitor table availability for balanced server workload. Take and confirm reservations; manage waitlists during peak times. Provide accurate wait time estimates and maintain a comfortable waiting area. Answer phone calls professionally and assist with inquiries. Maintain a clean and organized host stand, entryway, and waiting area. Assist other staff as needed (e.g., bussing tables, folding silverware, running food, processing payments via POS). Perform opening and closing duties as assigned. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Team - oriented mindset and willingness to assist others. Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods. Basic computer and math skills; familiarity with POS systems preferred. Prior customer service or restaurant experience is a plus. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
