About the Position

Job Responsibilities – Ultrasound Technologist (OBGYN)

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, primarily OBGYN studies .
• Obtain high-quality images of pelvic and reproductive anatomy using appropriate ultrasound techniques.
• Perform obstetric scans, including fetal anatomy, growth, viability, and related examinations.
• Review patient history and physician orders to determine the appropriate exam.
• Properly position and communicate with patients throughout the procedure.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain patient records.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to facility standards.
• Follow ALARA principles , infection-control procedures, and patient-safety protocols.
• Communicate significant findings or concerns to the appropriate physician/prov

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience
• ARDMS required
• AHA BLS required
• Recent OBGYN Ultrasound experience required
