Master Barber

Job Description

Master Barber / Stylist — Team Lead

Stillpoint Grooming | Chicago

Your Role : We are looking for two experienced Master Barbers / Stylists to join Stillpoint as foundational members of our grooming team.

• This is more than a chair behind which to work. As one of our senior professionals, you will help establish the craft, service standards, culture, and guest experience that define Stillpoint.
• You should be equally comfortable delivering an exceptional haircut, consulting with a discerning client, mentoring another barber, and helping us refine the small details that turn a good service into an exceptional one.
• Who We're Looking For : We're looking for someone with strong technical ability and quiet confidence . You take your craft seriously but don't need an ego to demonstrate your expertise. You understand that luxury isn't about being flashy—it is about attention, consistency, time, and care. A valid Illinois license appropriate to the services performed would be required.

About Us and Why Stillpoint?

• Stillpoint is a gentleman’s grooming house built around a simple idea: refinement begins with a moment of stillness. We bring together hair and beard grooming, head spa and scalp treatments, and men’s manicure and pedicure care in a calm, thoughtfully designed environment. Our approach combines precision grooming with restoration. We want each guest to step away from the pace of everyday life, receive exceptional care without feeling rushed, and leave looking sharper and feeling restored.
• This is an opportunity to join Stillpoint at an important stage—not simply to inherit an established way of doing things, but to help build it. Our senior barbers/stylists will have the opportunity to shape service standards, mentor future team members, develop a loyal clientele, and grow with a distinctive new men's grooming concept.
