As our Plant Maintenance Electrical Journeyperson, you’ll be a go-to expert for installations, maintenance, and fast, thoughtful troubleshooting that protects people and productivity.What you’ll doInstall and commission industrial electrical equipment, panels, and circuits.Find root causes fast and perform repairs to keep operations moving.Own preventive maintenance: inspections, testing, adjustments, and documentation.Use schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to plan and execute work.Meet or exceed safety requirements and electrical codes at all times.Partner with maintenance teammates to support production goals.Record tasks, parts, and results with clear, accurate notes.Continuously improve by staying current with industry practices and technology.What sets you up for successHigh school diploma or equivalent; journeyman electrician program completion preferred.Current electrician’s license.Hands-on experience in industrial environments (or equivalent).Strong command of wiring methods, power distribution, controls, and safety.Confidence reading and applying technical documentation and schematics.Analytical problem-solver with strong attention to detail.Team-oriented communicator who values coordination across departments.Willingness to work flexible schedules and respond to emergencies when needed.Tools you’re fluent withElectrical installationElectrical troubleshootingConduit bendingElectrical schematic readingWhy this roleIn this position, your craftsmanship directly influences safety, uptime, and quality.
