If you're ready to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply and become part of our innovative family.ResponsibilitiesGeneral:Following company policies and processesInitiating and supporting continuous improvement activitiesCreating metrics and reports as requiredDocumenting and improving Quality ProcessesTraining new employees in Quality ProcessesGuiding process users and answering questionsEnsuring compliance with internal and external standards where applicableApproving Engineering Change Orders for Quality EngineeringParticipating in NPI projects as a core team memberSupporting Manufacturing Engineering projects as neededPerforming other functional duties as assigned by the supervisorSupporting Global Supply-chain Management (GSM) department on vendor selection and performance activitiesSupporting Receiving Inspection activities, answering their questions regarding processes, parts, design intents, drawings, inspection techniques, sampling plans and SAP QM transactionsNon-Conforming Material (NCM) and Material Review Board (MRB):Owning the process, documentation, and PLM toolProcessing NCM data into databases (SAP)Managing Material Review Board (MRB) activitiesManaging MRB room inventoryManaging MRB metrics and reportsEnsuring on-time disposition of NCM records and NCM materialEnsuring NCM data integrity and compliance with internal and external standards, policies and proceduresSupplier Deviation Request (SDR):Owning the process, documentation, and PLM toolApproving SDRsMonitoring and maintaining SDR process, work instructions, and PLM databaseManaging SDR metrics and reportsEnsuring on-time disposition of SDRsEnsuring SDR data integrity and compliance with internal and external standards, policies and proceduresQuality Information Records (QIR)Owning the process, documentation, and PLM toolCreating and maintaining Quality Inspection Plans in SAPCreating and updating QIR in SAPEnsuring SAP quality plans' functionality and accuracyPreventing QIR and Quality Lot errors in SAPWorking with manufacturing engineers and receiving inspectors to maintain quality plans and QIRsFirst Article Inspection (FAI):Owning the process, documentation, and PLM toolCreating FAI requirements on FAI formsSupporting Manufacturing Engineers' approval of FAI resultsGenerating FAI metrics and reportsEnsuring on-time disposition of FAI resultsOut of Box Quality (OBQ):Owning the process, documentation, and PLM toolChairing the OBQ board meetingsManaging the OBQ action itemsGenerating OBQ MetricsQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Fluent in Microsoft Office ToolsAdvanced skills in MS Excel (data mining, macros, charts, tables, pivot tables etc.)Experience in leading and contributing dFMEA, pFMEA, DFx tools and processesExperience in NPI processExperience in leading and contributing cross-functional international teamsExperience with chairing Material Review Board (MRB) and NCM activitiesExcellent people skills and team playerExperience with SAP material master and quality modules and transactions3D CAD experience with ability to read fabrication drawings and make changesKnowledge of common inspection tools and how to use themExcellent understanding of fundamentals of quality assurance and QMSExperience in using conventional inspection equipment and CMM (or similarly advanced tools)Experience in process capacity analysisExcellent verbal / written communication, and presentation skillsPreferred Qualifications:ISO9001 or equivalentLean Six SigmaExperience with process improvementsExperience with writing Engineering ChangesPHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:Strong typing skillsAbility to lift 25lbsEDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:BS in EngineeringMinimum of 3 years' Quality Engineering experienceAt Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $97,000 and $173,000. You will have the ability to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
