Remote Fleet Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Fleet Coordinator to manage aspects of their vehicle fleet operations, supporting their Randburg -based activities. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency, safety, and compliance of our client's fleet from a remote work setting. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance schedules, tracking vehicle locations, managing driver communications, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate regular vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs, scheduling appointments and tracking service history.
• Monitor fleet telematics data to track vehicle movements, driver behavior, and adherence to routes and schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, including vehicle registration, insurance, and licensing information.
• Act as a primary point of contact for drivers, addressing queries related to logistics, schedules, and vehicle issues.
• Ensure all fleet operations comply with South African traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in managing fuel card programs and tracking fuel consumption for cost-efficiency analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fleet coordination , logistics support, or a related administrative role.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using fleet management software and standard office productivity tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective in a remote working environment.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and South African transportation regulations is a plus.
