Job Details Specialty: Emergency Room / Emergency Department RN Employment Type: Travel Nursing Setting: 29-bed Emergency Department Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Shifts Per Week: 3 Duration: 14 weeks Start Date: 9/27/2026 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 Location: Olathe, KS Area: Kansas City suburb Patient Volume: Approximately 120 patients per day Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1 as needed Job Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience within the last 12 months Active Kansas RN license or compact/multi-state RN license Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification Current PALS certification Current NIHSS certification Conscious Sedation competency TNCC preferred Ability to remain calm and effective in a rapidly changing emergency care environment Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department Care for patients with a wide range of acuity levels, including chest pain and stroke evaluations Support inpatient boarders while maintaining efficient ED workflow Assess, triage, and monitor patients in a fast-paced emergency setting Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, timely patient care Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and department priorities Work scheduled weekend nights and one holiday rotation as required Why Consider This Travel RN Opportunity?
