View all jobs Program Finance Analyst Location: Fairfax, VA (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Overview Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is partnering with a growing organization in the aerospace/defense sector seeking a Program Finance Analyst to support program financials, forecasting, and reporting. Key Responsibilities Prepare and support Estimate at Completion (EAC), forecasting, and budgeting activities Analyze program financial performance, including variance analysis and trend identification Provide financial data and reporting for internal business reviews and leadership decision-making Monitor key performance indicators and investigate drivers of unexpected variances Support program setup, maintenance, and contract closeout activities Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed Ensure financial reporting aligns with GAAP standards and compliance requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 2+ years of experience in Program Finance, FP&A, or Accounting Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles Experience with government contract types: FFP, CPFF, T&M Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in aerospace and/or defense (GovCon) environment Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central a plus) Exposure to Power BI or other reporting/BI tools Why This Opportunity High-impact role supporting program-level financial performance Strong exposure to leadership and cross-functional teams Opportunity to grow within a dynamic GovCon environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Cherry Bekaert Foundation
