Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Location: St. Cloud, MN Compensation: $21.63–$26.44 per hour – paid weekly Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | Business Hours Job Type: Temp | Full-time About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Human Resources Generalists for a company in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In this role, you'll support key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance while helping create a positive employee experience. What You'll Do as a Human Resources Generalist: Support recruiting efforts by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding qualified candidates Lead new hire orientation and onboarding to create a positive employee experience Manage employee leave requests, including FMLA, short-term disability, and leaves of absence Handle employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and maintain accurate documentation Maintain employee records and HRIS data, including new hire setup and employee updates Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, HSA enrollment, and EAP programs Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, company communications, and culture-building activities What You Need to Bring to the Human Resources Generalist Role: Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred 1–2 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or related HR role preferred Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations processes Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
