Job Title: Rehabilitation Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years rehabilitation nursing experience License: RN Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Basic computer knowledge Appropriate communication skills Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) Description: This facility is a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Customized and individualized rehabilitation is tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The facility strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those served through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Patient population consists of individuals in rehabilitation. The nurse role involves collaborating with a team to provide high-quality patient care. Candidates must be cooperative and have a desire to be a team player.
