Automotive Technician CPosition Schedule / Shift: Service center hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Schedule and shift assignments will depend on the position.Position Summary: As an Automotive Technician C, you'll perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, and diagnostic work on a variety of vehicles, including diesel and hybrid models. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll gain hands-on experience, develop your technical skills, and contribute to delivering safe, reliable vehicles and excellent customer service. This position offers opportunities for continued learning and career growth in a fast-paced automotive environment.Key Responsibilities:Performs basic automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair order for which Technician is trained.Drives vehicles into service bay, prepares them for and completes digital vehicle inspection.Test drives vehicles and prepares vehicle for delivery to customer after necessary repairs and maintenance.Maintains cleanliness of shop and work areas, performs other duties as necessary.Qualifications: RequiredHigh School diploma, GED, and/ or technical school graduate / certificationMust possess a valid driver's licenseMinimum of 6 months' relevant experience in automotive repair or completion of a formal automotive training program.Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources and training to independently perform a variety of usually basic repairs and maintenance of automobile and truck vehicles.Understand and consistently demonstrate the proper use of equipment and tools used in such repair and maintenance, as well as the need to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Ability to consistently provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service scorePreferredASE Certifications (or their equivalent).
