Sr. Project Manager - Oil & Gas

Job Summary:

\n

The Sr. Project Manager will lead project teams supporting one or multiple clients. You will serve as the primary contact point with clients on project updates and issues. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, budgetary constraints, and deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

\n

• Oversee a project team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
\n
• Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, and time constraints.
\n
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
\n
• Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project. Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
\n
• Pull budget reports as instructed by Project Director.
\n
• Conduct risk assessments: reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.
\n
• Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
\n
• Act as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
\n
• Communicate issues, changes, and feedback to clients.
\n
• Meet with client representatives to provide project updates, discuss project timetables, and work parameters.
\n
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
\n
• Provide direction and guidance to staff on decisions related to the performance and execution of project objectives.
\n
• Make work assignments to project team members.
\n
• Train and develop Project Coordinators and staff.
\n
• Makes employment-related decisions including hiring, termination, performance evaluations and recommendations concerning compensation.
\n
• Engage current and prospective clients to further develop relationships in the pursuit of future work and to cross-sell WLS services.
\n
• Reconcile credit card database by pulling report twice a month to ensure there are no missing/unimported credit card receipts from the statement.
\n
• Uphold Western Land Services’ Core values in all aspects of work.
\n
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

\n

\n
• Excellent communication skills.
\n
• Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
\n
• Ability to create and maintain information databases, spreadsheets, and text documents.
\n
• Demonstrated success in leading teams and coordinating work assignments in accordance with project timelines.
\n
• Ability to prioritize and organize work to meet project deadlines.
\n
• Ability to gain the trust of clients and landowners to facilitate the lease negotiation process.
\n
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
\n
• Significant travel and work outside normal work hours may be required.
\n

Required Education & Experience:

\n

\n
• 10+ years of Oil & Gas experience
\n
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
