Retail Scan Associate (Welches, OR 97045)

Overview This is a permanent PART-TIME role. ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store). Get a glimpse into the day in the life of a Retail Scan Associate. There will be continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift. Responsibilities Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays, in aisles, and at aisle end caps. Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in multiple store locations. Complete Display Scanning across the entire store on a weekly basis, which can require several hours. Possibly perform Custom Projects requested by Clients, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours per week per store. Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain dependable, quality-driven performance. Provide quantity estimates for approximately 45% of scanned products when requested. Qualifications At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage. Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach up to 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand. Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Must be deadline-driven and self-starting. Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy. High school diploma or GED (preferred).
