Shipping Clerk

Job Title

Review all new and existing orders daily to ensure ship dates are met in accordance to the customers purchase orders/request. Arrange transportation of customer orders in accordance with the customers routing guides and/or request. Maintain neatly and accurately all customer records of pickup. Coordinate Ocean Container Companies the delivery and pickup of containers as well as contacting and logging all waste containers. Review open order reports and CAMS load screens. Release and print customer Bills of Lading. Ensure all customer requirements are satisfied once Bills are generated. Fulfill request for Proofs of Delivery including copies of document associated to the request. Maintain logs for Container and waste pick ups.

Minimum requirements

High School/GED preferred. Read, write, and comprehend English. Computer experience required.

Abilities required

AS400, PC, and basic office equipment experience required. Must have knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, etc.). Basic phone skills necessary.
