Position Overview The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, focusing on the specific requirements of the ICU environment and adhering to the relevant standards of practice. In cooperation with medical providers and the multidisciplinary care team, you will provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care following established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. You will act as a patient advocate, embodying the organization's values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes. Carry out procedures, monitor patient statuses, and document care promptly in the medical record as directed by medical providers. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and necessary follow-up measures, ensuring they comprehend any complex medical terminology. Guide patients and caregivers on non-medicinal follow-up strategies, such as healthy lifestyle changes, to empower future self-management. Implement evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to surpass quality measures while enhancing patient care. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to customize and execute holistic treatment plans that support patient recovery and quality of care. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required within the first year of employment. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment. Trauma Nursing Core Course certification is needed within the first year of employment. Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license. Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree is required. Why Join Us?
